Something amazing happens when we learn and have new ideas. This process can take place through the power of media, activities or conversation.
What is Recycling?
THAT'S A GREAT QUESTION!
Recycling is the process of collecting and processing materials that would otherwise be thrown away as trash and turning them into new products. Recycling can benefit your community and the environment.
The Benefits of
Recycling

-
Conserves natural resources such as timber, water and minerals
-
Increases economic security by tapping a domestic source of materials
-
Prevents pollution by reducing the need to collect new raw materials
-
Saves energy
-
Supports American manufacturing and conserves valuable resources
-
Helps create jobs in the recycling and manufacturing industries in the United States
S
THIS IS HOW WE DO IT
The best strategy to reduce waste is to avoid creating it. This takes practice, but we can all find creative ways to adjust our habits. Making a new product produces greenhouse gases that contribute to climate change and use a large amount of materials and energy - raw materials must be taken from the earth, the product must be produced, and it must then be delivered to where it will be sold. As a result, the most efficient methods for conserving natural resources, protecting the environment, and saving money are reduction and reuse.
RECYCLING IS NOT
THE SOLUTION...
BUT IT'S A GREAT START!
Our goal is to provide children, parents and peers with resources that help support their development while empowering them to become environmentally conscious citizens of the world.
